First Etna Bianco Doc gets released!

There’s a new entry that becomes part of our range of wines and of which we are very proud: Etna Bianco DOC. The alberello vines that give us this new wine are located in Randazzo at 600 m.s.l.m., in Feudo Gabelle. In this part of our estate the soils have heterogeneous composition and stony alluvial pebbles are easy to find in the lower portion of the vineyard, while they are sandy and full of lava blocks and volcaniclastic deposits in the upper part. In terms of winemaking, after the manual harvest, we do soft pressing of the grapes, cold maceration, fermentation and aging in steel on the fine lees with bâtonnage for at least 6 months. Then, before a period of static decantation, the wine is bottled in April. It is a fresh, mineral wine that boasts all the characteristics of a pure Carricante with its delicate and elegant aromas.
