Massimo Lentsch wines around the world

June is coming to an end and it has proven to be very stimulating for our winery, Massimo Lentsch!

We’ve had the opportunity to visit a few international markets, where we have been distributed for a few years now, working closely with our partners and sales forces. Additionally, we had the precious opportunity to meet with many individuals working in the industry.

Every day, we realized how they represent real ambassadors for our territory and philosophy, driven by a passion for communicating what we do to a broad audience of wine lovers worldwide.

Massimo Lentsch Tour in California

Our ML tour started in the US, specifically in California, from June 11th to 14th. Four days filled with events, staff training, and sales force educationals. We visited the most exclusive wine shops, restaurants, and clubs in renowned Los Angeles neighborhoods such as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Larchmont, Silver Lake, Venice, Santa Monica, and Pasadena. These areas are frequented by VIPs from the “jet set,” including actors, singers, musicians, athletes, entrepreneurs, and politicians.

It was truly exciting to learn the trends and secrets of one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world!

Cardiff Wine Festival in the UK

On June 28th and 29th, we attended the “Cardiff Wine Festival” at the newly refurbished Marriot Hotel in Cardiff, one of the most vibrant Welsh cities. The event, organized by our Welsh partner and now in its 3rd edition, has shown continuous growth. This includes the involvement of producers from various parts of Italy and the world, showcasing over 300 wines and spirits, and the quality of the attendees. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best wine events in Wales!

The festival was not only for passionate wine lovers with extensive knowledge but also for horeca operators. They had the opportunity to participate in several in-depth collateral activities, such as Masterclasses on:

  • Italy’s Finest Wines
  • Sip and Savor
  • Resistant and Sustainable
  • Volcanic Terroir

Massimo Lentsch was invited to speak about the significance of Etna as a wine district. We discussed traditional practices, soil formations among different volcanic lava flows, their impact on wine, and climate facts. We focused on the Northern slope of Mt. Etna, where Massimo Lentsch produces his wines. It was particularly exciting to see how volcanic wines are gaining attention from wine lovers.

We can’t wait to face new adventures and tours worldwide. Stay tuned for more updates!
